Betsy, is our brand new beautiful vintage canvas marquee, measuring from 40 x 40, 60 x 40, 80 x 40 feet she can comfortably accommodate a party of 80 to 240 guests seated. Her large center poles are solid wood to match her outer side poles. She has clear panoramic windows to the front, which gives her a pretty contemporary twist.
Betsy is completely waterproof and stays cool in the heat of the summer and warm in the winter months (although we do recommend heaters during the colder weather). For summer weddings and parties, her sides can easily be removed to expose her lovely wooden poles.
We do not offer linings, as Betsy is just perfect as she is. She is not a modern PVC party tent, but a classy vintage gal!

Dottie the traditional vintage marquee
Having photographed a wedding in a vintage marquee, we fell in love with the idea of owning our own and decided to launch Dottie Events & Hire, offering vintage marquee and prop hire in the counties of Norfolk, Cambridgeshire, Leicestershire, Lincolnshire, Nottinghamshire, Warwickshire, Surrey and Kent.
Dottie, our beautiful canvas marquee, is a real treasure, measuring 60 x 30 feet and comfortably accommodating a party of 150 seated and 200 for the evening. Her two large centre poles are perfect for decorating with ivy, flowers or fairylights – scroll down or take a look at our blog for ideas on styling. Dottie also has a pulley system that lifts and lowers the centre bar, allowing a florist or stylist to work at floor level. Once the flowers, decorations and chandeliers have been added to the central bar it’s a very simple operation to hoist it to the ceiling with the pulley system.

our rustic stretch tent twins
Our two new twins, identical in every way…with their beautiful rustic wooden poles and sand coloured skin. Either of our Stretch tents ladies can be hired individually at 50 x 35 ft or joined together to become either 100 x 35 ft or 70 x 50 ft.
Our stretch tents are more versatile than our tradition poles marquees and can be attached to houses and placed on hard standing.
